The breathtaking landscape of Cannon Beach on the coast of Oregon, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
And in the middle of the desert, deep into the canyon, sometimes you have little oasis after rainstorms.
Getting close to the always inspiring Mt. St. Helens is an amazing experience.
Avenue of the Giants
At the Avenue of the Giants in Redwood National Park.
When the sky fills up with hot air balloons rising slowly in unison with the Sun. What a treat. The silence of the air, the chimneys, rocks and caves under you.
An amazing example of the sights you see when you hike the unforgettable Fern Canyon at Redwood National Park.
Shaft of Light
I loved in this photo how the shape of the balloon itself was really similar to the wavy landscape underneath it. It's the little details...
The volcanic rock at Chiricahua National Monument in Southern Arizona. This park is pretty remote, about a 2 hour drive from Tucson, but is jam-packed with amazing hiking trails. The rocks here are thought to have been formed after several massive volcanic eruptions millions of years back.
The calm of Lake Annecy with the Alps behind.
And another view of the Alps, with a Chateau rising above... this Chateau is still owned, and lived, by the same family that has lived there for *many* generations.
The beautiful Lake Annecy. You can already see some snow in the Alps, but between the gorgeous Chateaus and villages, the color of the sky, the crisp cold air of the Alps and the beauty of the lake I couldn't have been more inspired.
The Chateau Corton-Andre winery. An incredible Chateau in this gorgeous village in the Burgundy region of France. The vines are stunningly beautiful, especially with the rolling fog in the distance and the fall colors in full force.
Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach on the coast of Oregon. A stunningly beautiful scenery.
Oh, the Route des Grand Crus. 60 km linking 33 of the great little villages and towns, and all the best Burgundy wineries in France. Mind blowing to drive around this place.
